Archival Resources for Catholic Collections (ARCC) Steering Committee Formed

Welcome to the newly launched website for ARCC. It is designed as a resource for religious leaders, archivists, and scholars looking for information to strengthen Catholic religious archives.

Our Steering Committee represents each of the three constituencies represented at the 2018 Boston College conference: religious leaders, archivists and scholars.

The committee members are (pictured above from left to right):

  • Carol Coburn, Avila University, Kansas City, Missouri
  • Chris Doan, Archives of the Archdiocese of San Francisco (not pictured)
  • Ginger Downey, OLVM, Our Lady of Victory Missionaries, Huntington, Indiana
  • Rachel Foote, Sisters of the Presentation, San Francisco, ARCC Web Master
  • Jennifer Halloran, Maryknoll Mission Archives, Maryknoll, New York (not pictured)
  • Patricia Lawton, University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Indiana
  • Malachy McCarthy, Claretian Missionaries Archives, Chicago, ARCC Steering Committee Coordinator
  • Ellen Pierce, Archival Consultant, Peekskill, New York

ARCC’s mission will be realized by member participation. We urge you become engaged with others to further the archival mission of Catholic religious communities and preserve their legacy for the future. Email archivalrcc@gmail.com to join our list-serv and begin engaging today!
